ABOUT RICH

Rich Binning is a researcher, investigator, and freelance writer passionate about teaching and coaching. He has dedicated 30 years to serving in public and private schools, teaching various subjects, and coaching high school and college basketball. He has worked with children, youth, and young adults as a teacher, coach, and youth and college leader. In addition, he spent 17 summers serving on staff at a summer youth camp.

Rich’s passion for youth and children has led him to focus on eradicating child trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of children. Over the past 19 years, he has conducted research and investigations on human trafficking and exploitation worldwide. He has worked and collaborated with various like-minded organizations. He started his work by volunteering with the International Justice Mission (IJM), where he learned about the horrors of human trafficking and exploitation. He collaborated with advocates and lawmakers to advance legislation that supports victims and organizations fighting against these atrocities. He has gleaned knowledge and experience from top leaders in the fight against exploitation, enabling him to educate and challenge others to advocate.

Based on 30 years of research and experience, Rich lives and works in Southeast Asia. His mission is to “Stand with the Champions in The Field and Share Their Stories,” as he continues to fight for the eradication of child trafficking and sexual exploitation. With degrees in Biblical Studies, Historical Studies, and Political Science, as well as a Master’s Degree in Historical Studies, Rich uses his training, experience, and education to serve vulnerable and exploited children around the globe. He collaborates with life-giving missionaries and like-minded organizations, standing with these Champions on the front line of the battle, and shares their stories to educate and challenge individuals to advocate for vulnerable and exploited children globally.
